Polk County recount: All eyes on District 1 (Crookston Daily Times)
A recount of the District 1 Polk County Commissioner race began this morning and was expected to take most of the day. Gerald “Jerry” Jacobson, current commissioner, requested and paid for the administrative recount, as unofficial results showed challenger Craig Buness winning by only 34 votes, a margin of 1.3 percent.
