Customer Review: bougt it as a present
I bought compost fork as a present so I haven’t been using it myself. The instrument felt well made as all the other Fiskars product I’ve ever encountered.
Customer Review: Fiskars Compost and Mulch Fork
Well-balanced and comportable to use, this fork is a pleasure to handle when tossing compost of mulch. So much easier than wielding a shovel!

Square Foot Gardening: A New Way to Garden in Less Space with Less Work
One of the bestselling garden books ever is fresher than ever! Ready to inspire a whole new generation of gardeners. When he created the “square foot gardening” method, Mel Bartholomew, a retired engineer and efficiency expert, found the solution to the frustrations of most gardeners. His revolutionary system is simple: it’s an ingenious planting method based on using square foot blocks of garden space instead of rows. Gardeners build up, not down, so there’s no digging and no tilling after the first year. And the method requires less thinning, less weeding, and less watering.”I found a better way to garden, one that’s more efficient, more manageable, and requires less work,” Bartholomew explains. Not surprisingly, his method quickly received worldwide recognition and has been written up in every major newspaper and gardening magazine. His book, which served as the companion to the nationally acclaimed television series, has sold over 800,000 copies. Now freshened with new illustrations, the book Ingram calls “the largest selling garden book in America” is reissued for the delight of a whole new generation of gardeners.

Customer Review: Best Garden Book for Beginers
I have owned this book for years. Worn out more that one copy. This copy was purchased to give to a new urbanm garden project in a develpomently challanged area of my city. We will be teaching at rick young people how to garden and landscape. This is one of many tools we will use and is as far as I am concerned the best how to do it garden book for people who have little or no knowledge about gardening.
Customer Review: Not “Just” for Small Spaces
Wonderful information is contained throughout this book for gardeners planting in small 4′X4′ spaces to huge gardens. In fact, “Square Foot Gardening” is chocked full of useful information which can and should be used in any size gearden from a small container on the patio to very large gardens. The info saves a gardener many back-breaking laborous hours. Before I read this book, I did not know that cantalopes can be trellised, which saves “those” vines from rambling all over the garden. There is too much info to be missed without this great book.

Pots in the Garden: Expert Design and Planting
No longer a technique just for apartment dwellers or novice gardeners, the use of ornamental containers on decks, patios, terraces, and in the garden itself can save time, space, and money, while offering experienced home gardeners unique creative challenges, site flexibility, and experimental fun. Author and award-winning horticulturist Ray Rogers takes you on an engaging exploration into basic design principles as well as how to create focal points, use water, exploit the potential of empty containers, and more. Stunning photographs by Richard Hartlage provide guidance and inspiration, as well as visually explaining each principle. Gardeners at every level of experience will find inspiration and instruction in this comprehensive book.

Customer Review: Pure inspiration
Yet another really fine book from Timber Press. I’ll spend long, dark winter evenings wandering through these pages, absorbing the wisdom of the writers and generating ideas for next spring. Gorgeous photographs, too.
Customer Review: Gorgeous book and inspired arrangements
I purchased several gardening books together and this one was the highlight. Not only beautifully photographed but full of interesting suggestions and writing. My husband and I were able to immediately use some of the arrangements as inspiration for a new bed in our garden. Turned out beautifully!

Sleek, elegant design is the size of a pen. Projects beam up to 500 yards away. Includes two AAA batteries. Also search for: Apollo c/o Acco World,Presentations,Pointers,Slimline,Slim Line Laser
Price: $65.49
Customer Review: I thought it was great.
I got one of the same laser pointers for 39 bucks at Staples. I love it, I always used to go outside at night and shine it on everything, and I have a 400 foot-long street with a stop sign at the end. And there you could see the little red dot at bright as the sun on the stop sign. I used to do this. The reason I can’t anymore is because I did something really stupid in the basement. I Ductaped it to a fan to make a circular line all around the walls. Well, I put it on full speed and it was going too fast to see the line, and all of a sudden, the pointer slips out of the tape at a phenomenal speed of like 100 miles an hour heading for the brick wall (and God forbid, it just has to hit the only one of the four walls to be brick!!!). I heard a huge popping noise and that is when I actually realized that everything i said just happened. I pick up the laser behind alot of boxes. It was bent 90 degrees in half, blinking, and one side was flat. I realized i wasn’t gonna fix that one. I say buy this. Just dont do what I did!!!!!

Customer Review: Bona X Hardwood Floor Cleaner
I have just rennovated my grandmothers old home. I redid all of the wood floors. They are beautiful and wanted to make sure I used a product that did not harm them. Bona X is the most wonderful product, easy to use and my floors continue to look as good as when I first redid them.
Customer Review: Bona-X Floor cleaner
If you take the time to talk to any professional Hardwood Floor people they will tell you NOT to use Murphy’s oil soap or ANY soap of any kind on your hardwood. I have been using this product for years and it was suggested to me by the hardwood installers that installed my floors. Given they have nothing to gain by suggesting this product I didn’t hesitate to try it. They are right. I buy it by the gallon and Amazon so far, has the best price. Don’t hesitate to use this product if you want to maintain your hardwood properly and keep it looking great.

For corner brownie fans and chewy edge lovers, it’s a dream come true — a gourmet brownie pan that adds two chewy edges to every serving! It’s the Edge Brownie Pan from Baker’s Edge, and it’s the first (and only) brownie pan specifically designed for chewy edge lovers. The pan’s patented sidewalls also improve baking performance by circulating heat evenly to the pan’s middle, where food typically takes longer to bake. The size is just right — 9″ x 12″ x 2″, so it’s a perfect fit for box mixes and most recipes for 9″ x 9″ and 9″ x 13″ conventional pans. The hefty cast aluminum construction adds durability and the unique recessed handles make the pan easy to grab when it’s turned upside down. The pan also has a quality nonstick coating and smooth, round corners for quick and easy clean-up. Widely acclaimed for its innovation and quality since its launch in 2006, the Edge Brownie Pan has quickly become one of the most talked-about new products in bakeware. The pan has received rave reviews by more than 200 magazines, newspapers, and blogs. Units are individually boxed and come complete with a gourmet recipes insert and a custom nylon spatula.
Price: $34.00
Customer Review: A Must for Brownie Lovers
I love brownies. I bought this pan mainly for it’s unique design and features. This pan is excelent, it provides uniform cooking so you don’t get burnt edges and soggy middle parts. It also makes easy to create uniform portions. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves baking.
Customer Review: Crispy Brownies, etc.
I love using the Edge Brownie Pan — what a clever invention! Now everyone can have the crunchy edges with every brownie — or every piece of lasagna!

Customer Review: Good for historical info, but not for analysis
This book read really quickly, and was full of neat information that I never knew before, but I can’t help wishing it had been better written and edited. I caught several (as in way, way too many) grammatical errors and typos. On top of that, the style was close to awful, with strange sentence construction that distracted from the point of the work. Like I said, the information was neat, but the analysis was bare bones, and mostly made huge assumptions in the reader’s familiarity with the subject matter. I very much enjoyed learning all the historical details I never knew before, like that sci-fi fans wrote the first real zines in the 1930s. But when it came to the more modern stuff, the eras I know more about, there was little in the way of new or exciting information. Thought-provoking analysis would have made up for this, but it just wasn’t there. I got this book on a recommendation from one of the feminist magazines I read, and I’m not terribly upset to have it in my collection. It’ll make a good source to cite for clear historical info. Other than that, it’s pretty lackluster.
Customer Review: Lots of facts, but little cohesion
This book is a wonderful collection of facts, giving you a wave of information about DIY music and publishing (although she mainly sticks to ‘zines, not self-published books or anthologies) The style of writing is pretty dreadful, and it made for slow going, and there was little cohesion between areas. Rather than have a thesis, the book concludes just about every chapter with comments like “And that’s part of DIY culture.” or “DIY culture is really important” If you’re looking for basic information on DIY music and publishing, and don’t mind the lack of a coherent flow, it’s a great book. However, if you’re looking for insight on the world of DIY, you won’t find it here.
