Customer Review: THE Bible for Weddings on a Budget
I’m newly engaged and just received this book for Christmas from my sister. I’m planning a very small (35 people) wedding and want it to be casual, elegant, and most of all, budget-friendly. Without this book, I honestly would not have known where to begin. Places like The Knot seem to cater to large, formal, expensive weddings and I just wasn’t getting much help there. Kelly covers everything from DIY invitations and favors to food, drinks, and music. I love the real life stories that are scattered throughout the book and Kelly’s tips on where to find things inexpensively. Bottom line, before reading this, the idea of eloping in Vegas sounded more appealing than planning a wedding. Now I can’t wait to get started!

Customer Review: The complete Pool Manual for Homeowners and Professionals
This book really does provide, as its title suggests, a step-by-step guide to everything you could ever need to know about setting up and maintaining a pool. Although the book contains a wealth of information about pools, spas and hot tubs, the book is well-written and easy to read. What most impressed me is that, while reading the book, you can’t help but get the impression that the author really does have first-hand experience of everything he is writing about. This gives a certain level of comfort and confidence to the reader that this book will, on its own, provide all the information you could need to know about designing, setting-up and maintaining a pool. During each step of the process the author provides details, from his own experience, of things that could go wrong thus ensuring that that you won’t make the same mistakes. The author obviously is passionate about the subject of pools and wants to make sure that anyone who wants to have a pool will be able to have one that they will enjoy and not cause problems or undue expense. Pools have the potential to be dangerous in terms of the hazardous chemicals involved, not to mention the lethal combination of water and electricity. However, these subjects are addressed in great detail and therefore any potential dangers should be avoided allowing pool-owners to enjoy their pools in the knowledge that they are safe to use. The book will be useful to the home-owner who wants to establish their own pool as it will provide an understanding of the basics of pools and how to maintain them, but the depth and breadth of information provided also means that it would be useful to professionals already working in the pool business.
