Customer Review: It is great
The Secret Garden, written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, is a very popular well-known tale - now a great classic! I have had the pleasure of reading it and it was fantastic. It is about Mary whose parents both and she has to leave India to live with her uncle as an unwanted child. She is very lonely and miserable there until she finds the door to the secret garden which has been locked and hidden for ten years… I really enjoyed this book and I would rate it 7/ 10; I would recommend it to anyone who likes reading - young and old, dim and intelligent, nasty and nice, etc.
Customer Review: What a sweet Story
This book will bring nothing but a smile to the face of the reader. It is an incredibly well-written story that captivates one to the fullest. The characters are so well-described that you get a very clear and vivid picture of who they are and of course the surroundings. The author masterfully paints such a wonderful picture of the spring, the world waking up from its deep sleep, the blooming trees, the singing birds and the flowers. With spring the garden comes to life and with it, melts the ice from the hearts of the little Mistress and the little Rajah. The story itself is an incredibly beautiful tale of a little girl, who has been cast aside by her own mother since the day of her birth, left to be raised by the help. Always lonely, unwanted, forgotten and incredibly spoiled the girl takes a long journey to learning how to appreciate the simple beauties in life, such as the sun, the flowers, the birds and the spring. She makes friends and learns to care for others. An incredibly beautiful story which will warm your heart. Get this book and enjoy it !!!

Hama PC Tool Kit (Standard)

Hama PC Tool Kit (Standard)
Customer Review: Well presented, good value, but a bit superfluous
POSITIVE SIDE: There is a decent variety of well-made tools presented here in a neat wallet and they should do for all but the most sophisticated p.c. tasks. They range from nut/bolt ’spinners’, 2 cross-head and 2 plain screwdrivers to tweezers and a ‘grab’ for reaching small parts which you may have dropped. I only bought the kit to change a soundcard, but it may well have future uses.

NEGATIVE SIDE: The nut/bolt ’spinners’ can probably be dispensed with, since most bolts holding p.c. cases together tend to have a crosshead incorporated. The tweezers were metal. Looks good, but a bad idea inside a p.c. Should have been plastic medical forceps. Similarly (but MUCH worse), there was a handle for holding the replaceable metal bits (like screwdriver tips) that can be fitted into power drills. In my kit, the handle and the bit were VERY magnetic - tut, tut. Good job I left it in the wallet. Well, there was no reason to put it in the p.c., since the end looked like it started off life as a miniature Allen key, but had been ground down so badly that it had precious little shape remaining. [By whom, I wonder?]

A large plastic “test tube” is included, presumably for momentarily storing VERY small parts (bit of a no-brainer, I think).

As it was, I managed the soundcard replacement with one cross-head screwdriver I already had, but the kit may well come in handy in the future, so I won’t write it off yet. I would ditch the magnetic tool and the nut spinners and incorporate a basic anti-static wrist band.

Customer Review: A really useable D I Y book
Handily it’s pocket size. It is a rather thick little book but one has to expect that for it’s wealth of information. In A-Z fromat it can give you blow by blow instructions on everthing from changing the taps on your bath tub to retiling the house. Most other DIY manuals give you much the same and I have yet to across a poor one, to be honest, but this shrunken format is the joy. One hardly has time to sit with a glossy hardback in the middle of a building site after all!
