This is Datel’s official Hot Wire battery for the Sony PSP and PSP Slim which functions as a Pandora’s Battery (also known as a Jigkick or Tool Battery). This battery will make your PSP boot up from the Memory Stick in Service Mode. A separately available correctly formatted Memory Stick (a Magic Memory Stick) is required for flashing the firmware of your PSP.
As well as the PSP Classic this battery will also fit the PSP Slim but is larger than the Slim battery so you will not be able to fit your battery cover.
This battery takes 3 x standard AAA alkaline cells (supplied) which are inserted in its casing, and will last for approximately 1-2 hours use.
