Customer Review: tool get lazy
True, not even the most sophisticated musical techical wizardry can make this album sound any better than it actually is. The sleeve artworg works against the music in this case, and to hell with the gogles anyway, you can’t put the case anywhere because it dosen’t fit properly. If tool made an album like this every year, I would say “fair enough maybe next time they’ll get it right” but please not another six years for another stinker!!!
Customer Review: Another great album
Let me start by saying that I have been a fan of Tool since I first heard them. I am continually impressed by the bands ability to create creative, artistic albums in a musical world full of singles. This album is no exception. I have purchased, listened, and thoroughly enjoyed all of their albums over the years. I was stoked when I heard that this album was coming out, however after purchasing it and listening to it I was not impressed. I was disappointed at first, but after a few more listens and some digging I have found that this album is amazing and very thought provoking. If you are a fan of Tool this is just another shining example of a well put together album encompassing Maynards mysterious vocals, intoxicating guitar chords, and mesmerizing bass and drums that make Tool what they are. Great album and awesome band.
