Also excluded are plants and other garden products, carpets and hard floorcoverings, soft furnishings, bedlinen, bedroom furniture and houseware. MARKET SIZE AND GROWTH Consumers spent ?7.81bn at retail selling prices (rsp) on DIY products in 1998, according to Consumer Trends.
